Hailing from the deep South, Chef Treva Porche brings a touch of Southern flavor to the galley. Over the last 18 years, Chef Treva has worked in kitchens across the country and West Indies, bringing a continental touch to his preparations. From the island of Manhattan with Chef Laurent Torendel’s pastry shop at the TAO Restaurant Group’s Arlington Club, to the Virgin Islands now lost Caneel Bay Resort Sushi, he shows his cooking has a variety as varied as the colors of the sea. Head Pastry at the locally revered Craig and Sally’s in Frenchtown, St. Thomas, he became a well known name in island fare starting in 2012. Having attended the Art Institute of Atlanta for baking and pastry, the Court of Master Sommeliers, and having worked in every facet of food service, no detail is too small.
